Video & Projection Mapping

Video Mapping (or spatial augmented reality) is the process of using specialized software and high-lumen projectors to turn irregularly shaped objects—like buildings, stage sets, or even vehicles—into interactive display surfaces. Rather than projecting onto a flat screen, we "map" the light to the geometry of the physical world, creating immersive, three-dimensional visual experiences that can transform an environment entirely.

What We Do…

  • Surface Geometry & CAD Design: We use CAD-based workflows to model the physical environment, ensuring the digital content perfectly aligns with the real-world architecture.

  • Media Server Programming: We engineer and operate advanced media server systems (like Disguise or Green Hippo) to handle the complex processing required for multi-projector alignment and high-resolution playback.

  • System Integration: We link video mapping systems with lighting and audio via automation frameworks (OSC, Art-Net, or Companion) so the visuals react in sync with the rest of the show.

  • XR & LED Volume Workflows: For modern sets, we integrate real-time media playback with LED volumes to create "virtual" mapped environments for broadcast and film.
